If not, please let me know and I will delete them. Love looking at all the shots, but have seen very few sports.
Kid on left is my nephew.
The ending of this made the crowd go "owwwww" when the boys hit the ground.
Some serious footwork.
We tease him all the time about puffing out his cheeks. The balls come flying at his chest, though.
Great shots, nj! Wow!
Many (many) years ago my editor sent me on an assignment to shoot a soccer game. I had done a little basketball, and baseball in Milwaukee (Buck vs. Lakers, Brewers baseball), but I usually didn't do much sports, mostly political or celebrity stuff. Well...I think I did more running (with loaded camera bag) than the players! I told my editor "never do that to me again! Period!"
Soccer is not just brutal for those playing the game!
You did very well, my friend!
Thanks for the compliment. It took a while to anticipate the "hot spots," but finally I got it. Soccer is so much faster than football or basketball. And, I had to grin to myself, imagining you running back and forth with the players. I would have passed out before the first whistle. I've been hit many times by torpedo-speed balls and flying bodies. Had a broken toe, exploded sandwich with subsequent mayo hanging from my bangs, sprained pinky finger and torn rotator cuff when I slipped on wet grass. Saved the camera - damaged the shoulder.
great shots. there is also a gallery for sports photography here on uhh you can post in also

Oh my - there it is, right in front of me. So sorry to have posted in the wrong forum. I do not know how to change it from this forum to the correct one. Maybe an administrator can help? Please. :-)
