Wow, forgetting to view the whole surroundings is a disappointment and in some cases a real safety issue. Overlooked the deer coming up on me on my right as I was only paying attention to get the picture of the fawn, her fawn.

At 79 I do feel the additional "tax"on my body when carrying for any distance especially in the country side. However I just take what I need for the shoot, carry the extra lens etc on my tool belt, attach my tripod to my camera and cradle it in my arms....and in the country, always take a walking stick or cane. I don't venture too far and never go out if I just don't feel the best. The right clothing/foot wear is a must and my cell phone is always charged and on my belt. Best advice is just to be smart and realize those days gone by are just that. Your tolerance is not the same and remember those at home want you back safe and sound.....with at least a few great pictures.

Again...thanks to the "cigar dude" for the link. Quite informative. With such as different "looking" camera in todays camera styles, I wonder if security would have questioned him about the camera with all the nut cases roaming the country today.

even the 150-500 will not accept the auto focus with the w/1.4. I have to manual focus to get that job done

I have a 50D and 70D Canon. Bought the sigma 10-20, then returned it and got the Canon 10-22. I saw the difference and was comfortable with my final choice. It is wide, but like most things one buys, it takes time to lean and perfect your pictures with any lens. After staying with Canon, i.e.: 24-70 I bought my 70-200 from Sigma. Faster lens and great price.

Not sure about the coating, but I have used Nation's Photo Lab to make enlargements mounted on half-inch "Gatorboard" which is very stiff, won't warp, and yet is not very heavy. I then glue two 1x2" boards to the back and attach a wise between those for hanging. This projects the photos out from the wall and really makes them stand out nicely.

WOW....almost the same technique I use. The two strips on the back lets the picture lay flat. I use a special clip that presses into the GB. When cutting the GB be sure your lines are straight and your knife is sharp. I precut to 5x7 and 8x10 as most of my pictures are printed in that size and buy the GB that has self adhesive backing. GB comes in black or white up here in Canada.

I'm in Canada and go on line to our Costco. Make all the right selections, sizes and types etc and in most cases the prints are there the next day, or a week if you are requesting canvases or metal prints. IF you walk in with your thumb drive, prints could be one hour away. Prices are the best.

The advertising says the stick pulls all pictures with only wanting to know what order do you want in storring them. It does the full search..🤔

These "memory sticks" for photos only are being advertised from 8gb to 128gb. Amazon has them as well as the web site for photostick. Big difference in price. Seems to be a love/hate feedback. Any members tried them out. Thanks
