The First major US eclipse happened in 2017. Now 7 years later (7 is a significant number) we have another one.
Taken together the eclipses cross over what could be a significant location.
AND - 40 days later (yeah - 40 is also a significant number) is Pentacost. OK - 41 days. Close enough.
Ever since the Star of Bethlehem (and before and after) signs have been in the sky.

Superfly has the right idea - you first need to soften up the wax and H2O2 will do a good job of that over a few days. I also recommend getting a small otoscope. They are pretty cheap on Amzn - you can even get fiber-optic ones that plug into your smartphone. When I was in practice as a flight surgeon (circa 1987) I had a small water-pik that I'd use to get the wax out of my pilots ears. Set on LOW and using a 50/50 mix of water and H2O2 at 102 degrees F AND a small plastic basin (ear wax will permanently stain clothing) I could usually clean everything out in less than 5 minutes.

Always wanted to be a pilot - like my dad. But lacked the hand-eye coord needed.
Fortunately in 1973 with all the pilots returning from SEA, USAF decided they needed engineers more than pilots.
On track to get an MSEE, I got an educational delay, and after my MSEE was assigned as a research engineer on a teeny tiny project called NAVSTAR GPS. As a critically important feature of my military career I managed to stay one step ahead of the assignment folks (for all 26 years) and was selected for a USAF medical school scholarship program in the FIRST year of its existance (Ref HPSP). Had I NOT been selected for this, I would have been transfered as a most eligible young bachelor to the desert wasteland of El Centro, CA. Along the way I met my bride, whom I certainly don't deserve, and live happily ever after, now 22 years retired.

FASCINATING Stuff! We've all seen AI cloning voices, videos - - just about all media available in the world. AI is even trying to clone works of art and imitate the artistic styles of well known / famous talent. Well THAT may come to an end - real soon now. There are several platforms that offer FREE digital image encoding such that if many such encoded images are entered into an AI database, that database will become corrupted to the point that requesting the AI produce an image of a Cat produces a Dog, Snail, or something totally uninterpretable. Artists that distribute their works in digital format (we used to call them 'comic books') would do well to encode each page using this technology to prevent their characters and styles from being stolen/replicated.
