I like the set, especially since I use the same camera and lens.

Great taste in equipment!

Great set. Really sharp. What lens were you using and the distance between camera and subject? Mahalo for sharing.

Thanks. Exif data on the image is available if you can see it. Sony 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 G lens on a Sony a7rIII at 400mm and about a range of from 15' to 40', but I crop to my liking so is not readily apparent which is which. This lens is one of the sharpest I've ever used and I've used all the sharpest Nikkor lenses before I switched to Sony.....😉

This guy has been using my backyard for dove snacks for a while now and finally decided to pay me back with a few poses......

Sharp. Focus is right on the eye which is very good. I think I would remove the arching twig above the bird. Can be seen as natural framing; but, to me, it is a bit of a distraction. Not a deal breaker by any means; but a tad distracting.

After following your suggestion, I believe I agree. Less busy, less distracting, good idea!

Chris T is the most subtle form of Troll and posts for his own satisfaction. Have we all forgotten all his previous Troll posts? I just don't understand how so many can forget so soon?

Appreciate the comments! Properly saturated red is always a difficult color to render properly because of both sensor and software technology issues. The red in his chest feathers is still partially blocked up, but considering it is about a 200% crop, not too bad.....

One of my favorite winter residents! I have a family of 7 living in the brush in my backyard, 4 males and 3 females that always provide that flash of beautiful color in the otherwise drab winter.

As we all know, US drones must be registered with the FAA whether for recreational OR commercial flying. The FAA is now requiring 'external' marking for viewing the registration # instead of alternates like an internal compartment.

That should read Greentoe..........I've been encouraging everyone I know to use this service since I started using it some 3 years ago. I've saved over $2000.00 as I converted from Nikon to Sony gear among other things. Saved hundreds on drones as well. Why would you waste money and not use this service? Everything is full US warranty with no disclaimers! It works with many, many other consumer products as well. I 100% can confirm the savings are a minimum of 10% and sometimes more......

Personally I do not recommend using ANY of the sticky gel stick type cleaning pens on any IBIS camera.
I clean 3 to 10 camera sensors a week in my store and IBIS products always make me nervous as they can move no matter what you do or how careful you are. I use the Delkin swabs on everything and have done so for 8 years now with no issues.

Very simple to lock the Sony a7rII and a7rIII IBIS sensors for cleaning if you care to read up on it. LensPens for sensors works like a charm as well. Used on both my Sonys with no issues.
