As we all know, US drones must be registered with the FAA whether for recreational OR commercial flying. The FAA is now requiring 'external' marking for viewing the registration # instead of alternates like an internal compartment.

I just took a mailing label and type in the registration and cut it to size stuck it on the drone with some clear packaging tape

I put mine out the outside from the get-go. I make vinyl door signs for my work, so I just made a nice set of vinyl numbers to keep everything looking "sharp"
