So being male, flipflops and cutoffs, a big ole push button start...and a Kodak Instamatic disqualifies me for your gang of misfit photogs ????

Absolutely not. We are BLMs (Bike Life Matters) and we welcome everyone with open arms and kisses. That is some motorcycle; bet it is a cushy, soft, bouncy ride and can get you airborne on the jumps. My gang would love to have some hot male members and if you want, you can carry all our tri-pods, beer and snacks.

Boy that takes me back. Ordered a Yamaha 250 Ascot Scrambler in 1965 or 66 which came to the dealer in a crate. No lights, no passenger pegs, megaphones and a usable rev band about 1,500 RPM wide (like 8,500 - 10,000 if I remember correctly). Not even close to street legal, but a hoot in the dirt.

While posting a photo of the bike to my Facebook account, I received replies and found out that 4 of my lady friends own bikes, none are currently running, but we made a pact that when this Covid-19 crap is over, we are starting a ladies bike gang. Should be lots of fun as we are all amateur photographers, love going to lunch somewhere new, and we all have a wild sense of adventure. Perhaps, if you are ever in the Ocala, Florida vicinity, you might like to ride with us? Just to let you know, all my bikes are kick start.

Cool , I’ve been wanting to shoot some night shots of my bike with neon lights reflecting in the black paint ... my sister moved back to Lakeland a year ago , had plans to spend a week during the sun and fun flyin , but covid 19 messed that all up .....

I've never been so off my feed as I have been with this Covid-19. If, and when you do get to Lakeland, maybe we can hook up for night shots.

“Nothing quite sounds like a scrambler “

I am bad! I just purchased a 1964 CL72 250cc Scrambler, so my hubby can ride with me. You are right, I can't take it with me so I will leave lots of toys for the nieces, nephews, great and great-greats. I am a DINK - double income, no kids and remarried 8 years ago after losing my first husband to Lou Gheig's ALS after 40 years of marriage, 13 years ago.

Thanks Bonnie, I grew up in Lakeland, moved out west 43 years ago

I have a sister who lives in Lakeland now. I am trying to plan a long weekend down there to go to the Double D Ranch and also do some night photography. Lakeland has some incredible vintage neon and signage.

I empathize. Looks like Luci hates the bath, but loves the post-shampoo pampering.

You are a youngster! Your Mother using Ivory soap. You probably never experienced LifeBoy (kinda reddish orange) and tasted terrible and seemed to linger for hours, defying all attempts to get rid of it. Just thinking about it makes my hair stand up straight.

Did you ever watch "A Christmas Story"? Lifeboy made Ralphie go blind.

I am currently in bed with my girl buried under the covers with 6 pillows piled over her and a half a tranquilizer to boot. We are having a hell of a 4th. Thunder, lighting, 90% rain, and fireworks. Our city passed an ordinance last year allowing fireworks in the city limits (not that it stopped them any other year). I, too, believe in freedom of expression but some times it is hard to be objective when your dog is suffering and terrified. In addition I resent having to clean all the left over flying debris from my roof, yard and vehicles.
