Doncha think that masks are nothing more than theater to make people think they're getting some protection? Another theory is that masks protect not the wearer, but the people around the wearer. Here in Texas, it's pretty much optional to wear a mask or not. Example: We just left a grocery store, and it was about 50-50 of mask wearers and not mask wearers. If establishments mandate them to enter in, at least these mesh masks let the wearer breathe normally.
I've been wearing masks for 2 years. I've never gotten Covid-19 in any form. You can believe it is just theater if you chose. Be sure to invite loved ones to your funeral in advance, you may not get another chance.
Do I like wearing masks? No, but I don't like being dead or sick either. You do you. If you want to one of Greg Abbott's pawns be my guest. Maybe, after enough of you are gone Texas will be a decent place to live.
