Perfect example of modern society here in the U S. Two gown people sitting together and not engaged in a conversation. No wonder the world is going in the wrong direction. Just my opinion. To me it`s a powerful visual statement on today`s world.

I respectfully disagree. It is a split second in time. For all we know they were deep in conversation and then the man on the right received a phone call or maybe he is looking for a photo in his photos library to show the other man. The expression of the man on the left seems to me to be that he is waiting for something from the man on the right, maybe an acknowledgement. We are both only guessing but it sure does not show anything at all about them not talking to each other nor does it mean something negative if they are not. Do you personally speak to and carry on conversations with a complete stranger sitting on the same bench? Me neither.

A great photo Voss. I like it a lot. The expressions of both men say a lot but we don't know what or even if they know one another/are conversing.
