Nice thought and advice. However, I don’t have any DVD players anymore and have no intention to buy another. Isn’t there an online streaming option?

Best to contact a AV Speciality Company to come and to access your needs. They can scope the space for best acoustics, and should be able to provide suggestions to suit your current and future needs. We use portable Epson PowerLite L610 that are simply workhorses. In main hall the AV company setup Sony monitors, screens, and projectors. But it all comes down to budget. The newest Laser projectors from Epson start at $2300, and are very solid units.

You have a great agenda planned. I do not remember if you mentioned how much time you have, but do enjoy every moment. One suggestion I have is if you decide to tour the city on a rented bike look into ‘Lyft’ or ‘Uber’. They have rental ELECTRIC bikes everywhere to rent. CRAZY. We went last year to a ball game, and had I known prior I would have downloaded App. I lived there before moving to Sedona, and there are so many places to see it can be overwhelming. So my advice is to not rush. Enjoy every moment, and savor all the flavors.

I haven’t read what the others suggested yet, but just from my own experience I felt the same as your wife when I bought my a6000. At the camera store when they wanted to show me a bag I simply scoffed, because this was to replace an older Olympus and was going to simply use that bag. Not. I’ve since purchased four different bags online. B&D 1x, Amazon 2x, Adorama 1x and all not what I expected. So my advice is if there’s a real Camera store in your area, with real camera people check them out, because most likely she will find a fit that suits her. Of the ones I ordered and received I returned the amazon ones and sold the others on FB. Oh and FYI, that cute “two lens kit” will expand. Add a prime 50mm 1:8, then a Sigma 30mm 1:4, and a16mm 1:4, a sensor cleaning kit, filtered air blower, filters, rain sleeve, she will need a bag that fits. The next time I’m in civilization (big city) I will spend hours in some camera store, armed with internet access to price comparison and negotiate the purchase.

EDITED POST:

Just a point of clarification, the AR-15, is merely a semi-automatic version of the military M-16 which is selectable between semi auto and fully auto. The “AR” stands for the initials of the manufacturer, Armalite Rifle.”

Yes that is true. Thank you for clarifying.

Our second amendment has nothing to do with hunting. It has to do with a tyrannical government and self defense.

“A tyrannical government” refers to an individual leader, or group having too much power. The checks and balances that our country is based on is eroding. We have one in power who uses force to accomplish steps needed to recover control, while the other side wants to regain control so to reinstate their measures, and to impose additional rules that will limit the personal right of citizens. Our government is eroding quickly and that issue needs to be addressed. We don’t live under a Tyrannical government. Yet.
I believe the 2nd Adamant is our only defense to protecting our right to bear arms.
“When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.
Our second amendment has nothing to do with huntin... (show quote)

When Seconds Count? Depending on where you live “minutes away” is not the option. In the hands of a trained owner a legal ‘carry weapon’ can be your first self defense.
As far as the Automatic Rifles (AR) that is a separate topic that needs addressed.

Has anyone looked into or installed the newly released Photo Shop for iPad? Last I used PS was the 90’s on a PC. I installed Affinity, which I think is a great program, but the learning curve for me has been challenging. I was about to install the trial till I saw the price, $240.00 per year! And yes I remember when it was $500 - $600 in the 90’s but I owned it! Here, if after the year I do not renew will adobe lock me from my photos?
Looking for input please

“Old and quirky”? Well I’m pushing 70 and just upgraded from my trusted iPhone 7 Plus to the 11 Pro Max and I’m loving it. Great phone and god, awesome features (some copied from Samsung and improved) my doctor had installed apps to phone & watch that he monitors, and more. Oh... and camera too. But I have real cameras, a6000 and now an a7rIII
But, ... if I was more interested in the camera and less the phone or other features I would have gone with the new Samsung 10 note, or Google Pixel. The newest and best of apple is great, but IMOP for a always with you point n shoot, the others have a notch up. Jus my 2cents

My wife who is stubborn, clumsy and refuses to accept the fact that she could take an instrument that weighs less than 3lbs, and reposition it and herself to where this does not occur simply places a card over the touch pad. Having my BT mouse attached does not automatically cancel the pad. If there is a selection to disable the pad recheck it.
