The Far Side's Gary Larson loved buzzards. I wonder what kind of caption he'd have for that photo.
I think he's saying, "Where's my apple?"
This is spectacular! Great time capture.
Where is this? I might want to driver down that road, that is if you're willing to share it.
The little girl is precious.
Luv the kimonos.
Your beautiful shots make me so lonesome for my yellow cab in New York
That is the most spectacular photo of a Gold Finch that my 67 years has seen. I've only seen two Gold Finches in my whole life (and I grew up in Iowa, its state bird).
Also liked the way you adjusted the boka on the finch and the female cardinal-?
I would never be so gauche as to take a B&W of the Golden Gate or even a lighthouse. But you somehow have pulled it off in spades!
These photos are art
I'm drinking a cup of coffee right now and so much missing Alaska in the morning mist.
These photos are so lovely, so moving and real that I'm tempted to build a campfire in my downtown Chicago apartment and praise the moment with coffee, as a light fog in Alaska such demands.
I don't suppose you have one or two more exposures? Some in the rain?
Last one was seriously good. Not that easy to pan with a birdie in flight. He's a cute little fellow.
Does he have a unique call?
Great stuff! Did they change to protective colors in front of you?
Very much liked the "boots" and the "marina".
You're on your way. Have fun, pal!
Don't I feel like a idiot/bully. I'll bet Glasgow has some pretty cool pubs to photograph from the street. Hope to see some more.
If I may reply as an American who has never been to Glasgow-- may I suggest taking your city shots minus people in them. Nothing mucks up a photo of a land so full of history and challenge as people and automobiles.
The wet streets are a plus-- a huge plus.
Can you arrange a sitting with your city minus human and steel and accept cobble and glare?
This means getting up in the morning and packing your gear to the site when the city is asleep, though alive with history. Take your remote switch and a thermos of coffee and capture Glasgow in its quiet.
You wont be sorry. Though it takes a discipline to throw the blanket off.

Posting a few shots as I still get acclimated to my new camera and lenses! Peace. BGS
really like the swan black and white
These photos reflect the most handsome bear I've ever seen. How well these bears have been looked after. You, Detroit, and the three orphaned bears are a lucky bunch
