Thank you All for kind words !
The fish is Plecostomus.... looks like the most popular one in this lake - man made on the grounds of Sepulveda Wildlife Preserve (do not ask me why) in the San Fernando Valley CA.

Thank you guys for your kind words !
I would like to add couple of pictures taken some days before showing not so lucky cormorant. Poor birdo must try to swallow the Pleco fish "opposite direction" - tail first and the
spikes of Plecos fin ruptured the neck ! This bird was in visible distress but there was no way to help him... sometimes Mother Nature is a bitch...
Sorry for quality of the shots but they were taken from pretty long distance...

Thank you Rathyatra, I was amazed by the snake-like ability to swallow large prey....

Just one way I thought of.

One thing is for sure... this picture yields itself to infinite manipulations!

The way you did it is pretty cool!

What do you like abt the shot?

As I stated in the post before... the abundance of greenery and the calming effect of the water... and yes, the water failed me completely - there should be much more of it with more prominent color (IMHO).
I will be back to the same spot in different light condition.

I am very thankful to all for your input! Great lesson for me here !
To be honest I wanted to show the abundance of green life... this wild screams of textures, colors, shapes with calm water behind was a subject of this shot. When I saw it on my monitor at home this subject was lost and the picture was a mess. I tried to play with contrast and brightness but somehow was not able to get it right and thought that this picture is "beyond the rescue"... and here MCHUGH proven me wrong ! Thank you!
Yes, definitely those white grasses are major distraction and should be removed to get the water exposed.
All, it is a great lesson to me, I am planning on going back to the same spot to shot it in different light condition ( original was on noon time with pretty hazy air).

Thank you for your support and kind critique ! I will take all your advices to my heart !
