Here are some new variations that I got from a visit at a local dog park. I could have cropped out the tail in the last shot but thought it added interest especially with the expression.
Beautiful. Love doggie pictures.
Outstanding work Vicki, I fell in love with the Minie Aussie, what a cute face.
"cropped out the tail" ???... no, I think that you would not dare !
Beautiful shots !

Screen doors, rocking chairs, big feet in heavy shoes....dogs have enough tail threats to worry about without us cropping their tails! You did the right thing on the last photo. This is another very fine set Vicki. Mike has it right, the Mini Aussie has a sweet face.
Beautiful portraits! The GSD in the first one is gorgeous.
Vicki, you are doing so well with your animal portraits! And seems you've gotten that background deal perfected! I think I'm going to have to find a "step by step" instruction guide!. Well done! And the little guy's tail needs to be there!! I love the stare-down of the first image, too. A great story!
Love 'em all. You can't go wrong with a dog as your main subject.
#1 is so charming. #2 seems so personable and intelligent and #5 is great fun. You bring out the best in these beasts, I do think!
Pet pictures always warm my heart! Beautiful pups and shots, Vicki!
Very nice, Vicki. On all of these, it looks like you carefully framed each shot to suit the dogs and the story they’re telling.
