Thank you I'm having fun shooting these.
First time I have tried this any and all suggestions and comments will be appreciated.
Stepped out on my deck and saw this prehistoric looking bug in my neighbor's field.
Great photos of an interesting platform. Still one of the two types of ships the Navy sails, submarines and targets.
The image is upside down!?
Ha! Ever since a bout of prostate cancer 23 years ago I've had to sit down to pee so the seat is always down. And sitting down sure beats being dead.
Sorry response to wrong poster
I prefer the first. The building with the cross instantly grabs my attention then I can wander the rest of the image, but I am always drawn back to the building. I do agree with Gene that the exposure could be brought up some. The second while technically excellent does not hold my interest and I seem to wander aimlessly around the image without being drawn to any particular point of interest it is kind of ho-hum another stream.
Welcome Billy,
I'm 74 when I bought my D5300 5 years ago I got the "Nikon D5300 for Dummies" by Julie Adair King. I was able to sit with the book and camera and work through all the menus and settings at my own pace. There is a D5600 for dummies, used copies for under $10.00. It gave me all I needed to know when I took the camera to Antarctica 3 months later. The best thing you can do is go out and shoot and post images here.
Good luck,
Bob
