In a pinch you can always send a text via email. The text address is <phonenumber>@something, but the something changes depending on the provider. You can get the part after the @ for most major providers here

I upgraded on my M2 macBook and my M1 Studio - no issues yet. I have not had a chance to review all of the new features, but overall moth systems seem snappier.

Go out at night with a UV flashlight - they glow a bright greenish/blue and just pick them off.
I usually feed them to the frogs in my pond.

the 'pro' computers are at work -

I have used KEH, MPB
MPB was OK, not great, but not bad - minor issues with one lens where the flanges on the mount disintegrated, they took it back and refunded without any questions
KEH - everything that I have purchased was in MUCH better condition than described. The last purchase from them was an IR converted D300 described as 'bargain', the only thing I found even remotely wrong was a tiny scratch on the baseplate.

The USB connection in the car may have been for power only, or the software in the car was expecting a phone to be attached and not a USB drive containing mp3 files.

The current version is 1.7.0 from Feb 24, and I have no issues with it on my Mac Studio. I also had no issues when it was on my iMac either.
Skylum might be a better place to look for support than Apple - Your computer might be working perfectly, but there might be something amiss in the Luminar install.

I forgot about that part, but since I had the catalogs on an external drive all I needed to do was point to them.
