I had the the very common OpenGL problem with Luminar. Was a Beta tester and bought it only to find out like you that after an update it wouldn't run on my PC. Asked for my money back and received it. I understand that it's a great pgm for the mac, but they've really screwed up the PC conversion.
Some great shots! Thanks for sharing them.
Impressive! The work of a genius!
Thanks. She's wonderful. Surprised that I hadn't heard her perform
I got lucky with my guesses and got 10
I have an s3is which I used extensively for years as my travel camera. I stuck with Canon when I went the DSLR route for two reasons:
1. The controls were set up the same way in the s3is and the Canon dslr so the transition was easy.
2. At the time, the entry level Canon DSLR and the s3is both had features which I used that the entry Nikon didn't have.
Bottom line, your transition to DSLR will be simpler if you stick with Canon.
Are the pictures going to be displayed behind glass? For our local county fair, they were mounted unframed on foam core board and it was suggested that we use glossy paper.
Amazing. Thank you for sharing these with us, and your procedure. I'm going to have to try this myself!
Your bird pics especially are exceptional.
