I was a Flight Engineer on a KC-97 (propeller Driven)after Korea and while refueling Fighter Jets the Boom Operator could maneuver the fighter easly.
This bring back old memories as I sat in the Flt Eng position for over 750 hours at age 21 in the Korean War.
The B-29 was my home for over 2 years an unforgettable experience with the 98th Bomb Wing
Thank You
I bought a lens for my Canon Rebel, Due to my misunderstanding I thought they shipped the wrong lens, called them and sent it back, they sent another lens no hassle or problems.
I liked the $100+ savings I have no complaints.
A professional photographer I know will only buy from 42nd St
I read many negatives but think only the dissatisfied write the satisfied seem to not respond

I entered the Camera world with much the same ideas as you about 2 years ago. Went on line (Craig's List) and found a Canon Rebel with little mileage, many accessories . It has the normal "rebel" kit but much more. Takes great pics and has many advanced features. Cameras are like exercise machines, many buyers, few users Good bargains to be had.
just look, look and look.
Beautiful pics of the Bridge and Bay, when I was a young boy we had to take the ferry to Jamestown, we had a house at the landing from the Providence side. Great memories, if I liked Cold and Snow I'd move back and leave Central Calif sun and surf.

To apply for a Life Ins. policy the proposed insured must sign, Therefore he should ask the agent to get him a copy of the application and will verify it's not his signature.
The agent if he is the selling agent may not want to co-operate so if not he should write the insurance company direct as the agent also signs as a witness on the policy.
The policy can be cancelled and the agent will have his commission reversed
Look into local High school/College course. Buy "Understanding Exposure by Brian, Amazon.com.
National Geographic, Great Courses just bought $79.00 Has great reviews.
If you would come out of hiding perhaps someone on this site lives across the street from you and could give you some one on one help;
take a course at your local junior college
I bought a new lens for my Canon Rebel from 42nd St, Had to return it as it was the wrong lens they sent replacement with no hassle. The cost was 30% less than any other place. I am more than satisfied.
A Professional Photographer friend of mine said he only buys from 42nd St.
I would go back to them in a sec.

Too much to see in even a week, Stay on old Hwy 1 Solvang, The dunes at sunset for 10+ miles north of Guadalupe, Pismo ,Avila, Morro bay, all of Big Sur Hwy, Monterey on and on.
I live in Orcutt never see everything myself.
I bought a used Rebel with too many accessories to mention, Am over satisfied.
I'd take, with you, a person with some experience to check out the camera.
Then I would buy on line the book by David D. Busch on the Rebel 200+ pages It will help you with all of the features of the Rebel
Good Luck, Bud
Got my lens, I thought it was not functioning properly and called Canon 800 # the rep verified that it was defective and I returned it to 42nd st on Monday. Went to a photo class I am attending and a student had a new Canon Rebel with the same lens I received. Upon looking and trying it I 'think" I discovered that my original lens from 42nd was functioning properly, they,42nd, will most likely be sending me a new lens and I'll go from there.
42nd st seems to be very co-operative. Will keep you posted.
Bud
I appreciate the comment. Let's see what I get and I'll pursue it from there as on the site it shows a Canon product. I'll let you know.
