canonphotopro 100 , $159 AFTER REBATES FROM B&H, check for the rebates , they run this promotion often, a great printer. ink is expensive but you get a lot of pictures m and you really have to change then ones that run out, mostly the black ones.' I'm on second one, i had one go bad one of the cartridge slots went bad.it was 14 months old, out of 1 tear warranty but Canon replaced it it free of charges.

i bought the Samsung 32" monitor, not tv, and absolutely love it. that said if you sit too close your will still see some of the pixels its 4x and all that, but i wanted the size. nothing comes close to the IMac screen I have. the retail price was $349. I bought it as a second monitor for running with my laptopat a different location.

i thought i was having a stroke, had some tingling in my left hand an so inability to hold on to things with that hand. after a hour or two i brushed the thought that it just might be a nerve or something.
i went to the hospital. they followed their stroke assessment protocal, blood test, physical checks, an i mentioned i also had a slight headache. they did a ct scan, found a brain tumor, which was malignant, had it removed, an nearly a year later am still dealing with the issues.
DO NO BRUSH OFF ANY SYMPTOMS
ps on the ver same day i initially went to the hospital, one of my good friends had symptoms, went to the hospital, he did have a mild stroke.
We are both 68.

most of these cost money, and suck you in with upgrades. i had one, wont say which paid $99 then the had an upgrade for $69, and the a third, o course they promise new features. well I have photoshop, pay the $9.99 as i don't need their cloud storage. I don't have to upgrade, upgrades come occasionally and automatically. I get Lightroom as well, but rarely use it.
I get way more enjoyment out of Photoshop than Netflix which I dropped. The next thing I will drop is MS Office 360, I will get one of the free Office programs out there. i am no longer connected to any work network, which banned open source products. Or then theres amazon music which I never use, or spotify which I dumped a while ago. I for one am ver happy with photoshop and gladly pay $10/month

15" Macbook Pro, i7 processor 16 gb ram, or 32gb as picture files are getting larger and larger. 50 mb ssd, i use external har drive space i already own. i triple backup by the way, no files in the computer drive, just applications which can take 200 gb alone.
BOOT time on my macbook pro is 9 -11 seconds, don't put too many app on computer that boot on start up. i generally do not have my browser on as it uses a lot of ram. i also do not run office applications in the background either. with the above, i never have a slowdown when processing pictures. my iMac on the other hand has the i5 processor, 16 gb ram, a old non ssd hard drive. The available ram often drops below 1 gb. the issue really gets bad if i use plugins like Topaz or nik as they open new layers go each plugin used. i often have a photo go from say 50mb to 300 mb while working on it. i often have several open at a time, so you can shut them down.

any humidity level above 60% puts you at risk for mold, not necessarily on the camera but in the room. i think if you keep the camera in you maing living area, not in a moist basement you will be fine. same for other valuables, including TVs, stereo.
