Didn’t know Picasa had that feature.
I could have used it last month.

I was thinking the OP was asking about a photomozaic, where you have potentially hundreds of tiny photos combine to make up one large photo.
I’ve done it several times, but don’t have access to a sample at the moment.
A program like EazyMoza makes it simple to do.
More here: http://www.easymoza.com/index.php?t=10
This is not free but pretty reasonable.

Thanks for the EazyMoza link. That is absolutely fascinating. Can't wait to play with that.

I find that I can learn a lot from the nice people on here. Unfortunately, you have to put up with garbage once in a while. (I did the first time I asked a question but I keep coming back for more.) Please don't accept "OLD" as an excuse for rudeness. Not all of us old people are.

I'm an Adobe addict and, until you posted, didn't know there was a Adobe Photoshop Express version for a PC. There is. It's free. I downloaded/installed it and am impressed with the variety and quality of the tools!

Thanks!

Same here! Well, actually I'm not an Adobe addict, but I had never tried, or even heard of, Adobe Photoshop Express for a PC. I just downloaded it - easy peasy - and took a quick look. It looks easy. I'll be checking it out further. Thanks.

I would like to create a 20-25 page photobook for friends and family - about 20 copies. When I have done this before (Shutterfly, Wal-Mart) there hasn't been any discount for multiple copies - the price is the same per copy for 1 or 20. It seems like it should be cheaper if you do several copies. Any recommended sites that allow you to create your own photobook and have good quality at a reasonable price?

Try Shutterfly.

Good quality. Call and ask to speak to someone about quantity discounts . You choose the number of pages. I use them a lot. Always been pleased.

We took a similar trip a few years ago. After every curve in the road, we would say, "it can't get any better than this". But it always did. Even on our last day as we drove back to Salt Lake City to be near the airport, we ran across the most beautiful "lake" of blue flowers and then were able to take an unplanned drive out by Great Salt Lake.

Moab (Arches, Canyonland, Goosecreek) was one of our favorite places. A local in Moab told us that Potash Road was a beautiful drive. Great advice! You drive right beside the Colorado River. It was a good paved road for 15 or 20 miles. Another great drive was Highway 128 from Moab.

Another favorite drive was "The Valley of the Gods" near Mexican Hat, Utah.

Over the past ten years I have used many of the ones already mentioned - Shutterfly & My Publisher, most often. My Publisher offers an 8x11, up to 100 pages, for $35 quite often. Then you get offers to buy additional copies for $25. I have been pleased with quality of both. Shutterfly has gone through some serious software conversion issues recently - don't know if that's still going on or not.
I have been looking for hard PAGE books. I just discovered Zno and made a book for my toddler great-grandson. I don't know if you can access it from this link but I was very happy with it.

I thought you could create an album in Picasa, in which case the pictures are still only in their original location.

Then I thought you could export the album and that would actually add a copy of those pictures to an "exported album folder" on your harddrive.
