Nice shot of the Chateau Frontenac. It brings back old memories of our visits to Quebec City.
We just got our first snowfall of the winter here in the Dallas area over a sheet of freezing rain. Like you, I'd like to get out of the apartment and do so shooting. However, the skies are overcast and there are snow flurries falling. Add to that the 14°F temperature, our worst winter in years, it's far from ideal shooting conditions.
You should check out the Apple web site for refurb'd iMacs.
Also, an Apple reseller I have found to be very satisfactory is Small Dog Electronics,

We watched the first 2 episodes and will certainly watch the rest. It is interesting that for some of the games, the director had the camera angle very low so the viewer could not see the entire position on the board. The result however was dramatic: In her last game with the school custodian, she 'appears' to sacrifice a bishop (?) so that she could queen a pawn and force a mate. If so, that's "masterful chess".
Many thanx for your list. Your list will make it easier to locate features in a very rich application.
The Ivory-billed woodpecker was also called the "Oh My God" bird. It's song had been recorded before extinction and was similar to that of its relative, the pileated woodpecker. Years ago, on our daily walks near a forested park in Vancouver, BC, my wife and I often heard a wonderful bird song but never saw the bird. One day we saw this interesting bird. Regrettably I was without my camera. We looked it up in a bird book: It was the pileated but I didn't relate that bird to that song. Many months later I heard a piece on PBS radio: Some watchers claimed to have seen a thought-to-be extinct Ivory-billed woodpecker in an Arkansas swamp. The claim was disputed because of the similarity of the two woodpeckers. They played the recorded song and I thought "OMG the bird we saw and the song we heard was the pileated woodpecker". Thanx for the pix. Be well.
My 5K 27 inch iMac is late 2014 and the spec for its HDD is 7200rpm:
1. Type CMD+space to get Spotlight
2. Type "Monitor" then Enter to get the OS Monitor
3. Click the "CPU" tab to get the %CPU column and see what else is using the CPU besides PSP2020 (click the column header to sort it, max to min).
4. Click the "Memory" tab to see what else is using memory besides PSP2020 (click the column header to sort it, max to min).
This may give you some insight as to what PSP2020 is competing with.
I see that you have 30+ images selected. You can have 100 layers in Photoshop but it also depends on the amount of free memory available on your computer. Things to check: How much memory do you have? Are other apps running?
Your LR catalog appears to be aware of the images but perhaps cannot locate them. You did not specify your operating system but did you move or rename your image file volume/folder several days ago outside of LR e.g. by using the Windows File Manager or the MacOS Finder? If so, in the Navigator (left) panel of the LR Library window, locate the image volume/folder.
I updated to LR Classic CC 8.2 on my iMac (Mojave) and tried a running a few images thru its new "Enhance Details ..." feature. The enhancements were noticeable but not remarkable. IMHO I'd only use this to prepare an image for large prints, if at all. I did notice that the feature transformed my 16MB CR2 images into 64MB DNG files. So use the feature with a definite purpose in mind.
