Here's what they say about it "The most significant new feature on the K-3 is its 'anti-aliasing simulator'. Like the K-5 IIs the camera has no anti-aliasing filter; this improves resolution, but with the trade-off of an increased risk of moiré. Pentax is using the K-3's sensor-shift IS system to simulate the effect of having the filter."

I'm also curious to see it at work. Hope its not just another gadget than can break.

Its the selectable AA filter that has me most excited

Congratulations to your new toy, I think it is a terrific camera, a lot more features than you would get from Canon or Nikon at that price, but equal/or better in quality. Having 8.3fps. is special!

I also preordered the Pentax K-3 from B&H with the 18-135 lens. Have been happy with the K-7 and the K-5.

Hi Greg. Thanks so much for your response. I went home at dinner time and tried those things. I can see the menus you're talking about, but I can't access them. I think it's a different problem.

My computer is a pre-owned computer that came with elements 10. The guy that owned it before logged into Adobe and registered it under his name. I couldn't access it, so I bought elements 11. I registered it and everything, but now I can't access all the functions. I brought photos into the photo editor about a week ago, and used it. But now, I can't get my photos into the editor. The sidebar menus are missing. I'm not sure what is going on. I may have to uninstall everything, and then re-install. I'm pretty confused about the whole thing at this point.
Hi Greg. Thanks so much for your response. I went... (show quote)

Choose one the click onto Add Open Files
Select from the options at the bottom of the menu then choose OK

Not falling into any trap here It will be my 5th Pentax. k 100D super, K10, K7, K5 and K3 as soon as it gets here

Just because the name "Pentax" isn't mentioned too often, doesn't mean it's a inferior camera. On the contrary...the K3 has 24mp, the same as Nikon's D7100. Video shoots 60fps and you can capture time lapse sequences. Burst mode is 8fps and it has a 27pt. auto focus. What's not to like? Plus the camera is sealed. Some people say...if it's not a Nikon or Canon, how good can it be? Don't fall onto that trap. Truth is, there's a lot of Pentax users out there.

Did you notice the slight downward bow of the horizon?
If the horizon was in the exact center of your frame, it would have been straight across. Keep this in mind on future horizon shots.
