Please respond if you have ever done a panorama in elements 11. I've got my 5 photos in the editor. I sent them there from Lightroom, because I couldn't figure out how to import them. It kept saying file not supported. When I sent them from Lightroom they were automatically converted from CR2 to Tiff files.

So, now they are there. I click on Edit at the top, drop down list, click on a word that has about 5 choices, and one of them being panorama. I click on that. It's not greyed out or anything, but nothing happens. Am I doing this is the wrong place? I watched an tutorial. Does anyone have a link to a better tutorial?

In the filmstrip are the 5 pictures selected? They should have a coloured border around them.

I can't help with Elements 11, I have v.9, but I can direct you to Autostitch (Google it), freeware that works very well. Give it a try and let me know if you have anymore questions with Autostitch.

Check out my pano thread here:

http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-153058-1.html

Lots of folks using lots of different pano software to post lots of panos from around the world. There might be someone on that thread to help you with v.11. Admin just split my thread because it had too many pages, don't know how to access the first half...

Have fun,

Eric

Enhance > Photomerge > Photomerge Panorama

This should bring up a pop-up menu with lots of choices
Choose one the click onto Add Open Files
Select from the options at the bottom of the menu then choose OK

I know, but nothing is happening. I'm going home from work. I will try it again. You do it in the editor, right? Are they supposed to be jpeg, or are the tiff files okay? BRB I have to go try this again.

I think my trouble is that I have the photos in the organizer and I don't know how to get them into the editor.

Hi Greg. Thanks so much for your response. I went home at dinner time and tried those things. I can see the menus you're talking about, but I can't access them. I think it's a different problem.

My computer is a pre-owned computer that came with elements 10. The guy that owned it before logged into Adobe and registered it under his name. I couldn't access it, so I bought elements 11. I registered it and everything, but now I can't access all the functions. I brought photos into the photo editor about a week ago, and used it. But now, I can't get my photos into the editor. The sidebar menus are missing. I'm not sure what is going on. I may have to uninstall everything, and then re-install. I'm pretty confused about the whole thing at this point.

Before you uninstall, open the editor, open Expert mode, open the Window menu and click "reset Panels" then go back to the Window menu and ensure that "Tools", "Layers" and "Panel Bin" are all ticked.

Also make sure you can see the whole of the screen, top right corner - the minimize sign on the left, The Restore button in the middle and the close X on the right- hit the Restore button a couple of times to make sure everything fits.

Find Serge Ramelli tutorials on YouTube. He very recently presented a tutorial on doing a Panorama in Elements 11.

I reset panels. I don't have those tools. Photo bin is at the bottom, but nothing happens when I click. When I first opened elements 11, it asked me to register again. So I put in the registration number from the box. It said it was the wrong registration number for the product. Do you think the elements 10 that came with the computer is messing with the one I bought? I bought a full version of 11. I am new to Windows 8. How could I uninstall every thing and start over?

I found the control panel. I am uninstalling the elements 10 that was previously on the computer.
