Sony A7C or A7III, both 24mp fullframe, both with 5-stop IBIS. Lots of good ones new or used within your price range

Or go to $2400 USD and get the latest new fullframe 33mp Sony A7IV with 5.5 stops IBIS, just a super versatile camera with many new performance features. You might find it for less used.

Sony 24-105mm f4 G OSS, $1000 USD new , even less used.

A great choice IMHO.

FYI, since moving over from pro Nikon and Canon which I used for over 40 years (both brands), I have owned Sony Mirrorless A6500 (APS-C); and Sony Mirrorless fullframe A7RII, A7RIII, A7III, A9, and currently own Sony A1, A7RIV, A7SIII.

Of my 13 E-mount lenses I have covering 10mm to 600mm from Sony, Sigma and Tamron, my Sony 24-105mm f4 G OSS lens is my most used lens for my professional and personal use around the world.

Here one shot, 24mp Sony A9, and Sony 24-105mm f4 G OSS lens. This shot was chosen as a Worldwide Photo of the Week by Sony Alpha Photographers in 2020. Environmental Scientist Brook H., in a slot canyon near Upper Antelope Canyon, Navajo Lands, Page, Arizona, USA. 24mm, ISO 400, f4, 1/30 second, handheld, all natural sunlight in the canyon.

Another award-winning Sony 24-105mm f4 G OSS shot, 24mp Sony A9. A local swimmer dives off a pier into the Caribbean Sea on the island of Sint Maarten/St. Martin. 24mm, ISO 400, f5.6, 1/2000 sec.

Cheers and best to you.

Thanks - Herbie seems confused - He is struggling choosing his daily gender I guess. But, he is teaching me about cropping so I'm blessed. In any event, these young guys/students are considered "at risk" ie future gangstas of America. Living in and around "the projects" with heavy gang activity, their odds of productive lives are minimal. So, I spent time letting them shoot some pics. The program was run thru a church and I took a portrait of each student, printed and framed an 8x10, to be given at "their art show". Sadly, I'm at the show......NOT one family member for any of them shows up to view their work. Frankly, much of their work was far superior to the photography I've seen posted by certain members here - typically the arrogant ones who hate composition. LOL! Here's a pic of two students. Apparently gangs use hand signals.

Thank you. Keep up the good work. Appreciate your post. Glad it is not about Nikon vs Canon, dslr vs mirrorless, or what camera/lens to take to Europe. Keep posting!

All, I’ll repeat a comment I’ve made in this section before: if you’re not interested in buying an item, kindly stay out of the transaction and refrain from comments concerning the pricing - it’s really none of your business and is definitely unappreciated by the seller. This is a classified ad section, not a section for general comments about how pricing should be determined, how much the item should sell for, where you can buy it cheaper, how the seller should conduct THEIR business, or how they should price THEIR property. I’m pretty sure that the vast majority of UHH members are adults, capable of checking prices and making monetary decisions on their own without the assistance of self appointed guardians of THEIR spending. This forum is for sellers and BUYERS, not kibitzers. If the item is priced incorrectly, the market will communicate that to the seller very clearly, and if you feel that you have information that the seller really needs to know, just PM them.

I agree. While I shoot a d750 and d810, the d700 has some of the best SOOC colors of any Nikon. It is a true professional camera.
