In the past I have purchased from KEH with zero problems but now there are more choices.

Has anyone had a positive experience with MPB.com? Feel free to suggest any other online stores that you have received good or great service from.

Thanks,

Mike

B&H has a used section. Nikon USA has a used section. I’ve never used MPB, but have read positive comments on them on UHH. UHH has a Member’s Buy/Sell/Trade section https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/s-6-1.html

I have had good dealings with MPB, Roberts, KEH, and Sammy's. No complaints with any of these sellers. Everything that I have bought from them was better than expected.

KEH I've bought all my equipment from them because they have a 180 day return policy, they stand behind their gear, the customer service is top notch

I'm still putting out feelers so I have a lot of time to explore possibilities.

Thanks Mac.

KEH is still at the top of the list and for the reasons that you mentioned.

I have, ironically, had very good luck with a 10-24mm that I bought from a guy on Ebay for my D 7100. Since buying a D 750 I am looking for the Holy Trinity of Nikkor zooms but I don't want to have to hock one or two of our 11 kids to get them. Baby steps. lol

I have used both MPB and Robert's. Both experiences were excellent but there is one difference. Roberts does not insure your equipment when you ship to them. You must insure it yourself while MPB does insure both ways.

I have used mpb and bought an expensive lens through them they were great. I have also bought from adorama used. I do not like keh for selling. The give you price on you lens, you send it it (mine was prestine very little use.) and they dropped the value $200, when I called back in to have them send it back to me they said they would ask the people who review the lenses to look again. They wasted my time so I told them I was not interested.

While KEH, MPB, Roberts, B&H, etc. are all great to buy from, I prefer Roberts used section because the photos are of the actual items. I'm not sure of the others, but KEH actually states that they use stock photos. Roberts and MPB also indicate the number of shutter clicks, whereas some of the others do not. Also, Roberts, KEH, and MPB all grade their equipment very conservatively.

I have used MPB to purchase and sell used equipment. There prices have always been more reasonable then KEH and B&H and service is top notch.

I have two local camera stores. One is better to buy from, but the other is better to sell to. The one that has the lowest selling prices pays the least to sellers. Go figure.

I have been buying used equipment from KEH for 30 years, including when they had a storefront in Dallas for several years. I had opportunity to meet King Grant and his wife (who ran the Dallas store) and visit with them numerous times. I trust them implicitly.

It appears that KEH may have been passed to the kids or perhaps have been sold. But all indications are that they continue to follow the principles that they were founded on. They are always my first choice. But based on my dealings with B&H, I would not hesitate to buy used equipment from them.

I have made multiple transactions with MPB, both buying and selling. They are absolutely excellent. I have also used KEH for many years, and have had great dealings with them also. They are equal in my thinking. I pretty much comes down to which on has what I need in stock at the time. Both are honest and ethical in their dealings.

I've bought from KEH, MPB and Roberts. All of them have been stellar. KEH is probably my favorite though.

Seven or eight transactions with MPB (buy, sell and trade) all quick and flawless. I highly recommend them.
