I know the feeling............ I am the designated photo taker for EVERYTHING .......... therefore I have tons of pics of everyone doing great things........... family events....... parties....... car shows........ etc..... But I don't make it into the photo's either.
I did like the advice you got about having friends and or family take pictures of me interacting with family and friends..... I do want someone to remember me too............ Thanks for bringing up the subject.

My youngest daughter got really duped with the photography company she selected. Ended with Consumer Report having to step in...... They are almost married a year and we are still battling. We looked on line, at portfolios, met in person, and were convinced we selected someone very professional. first she didn't even show up she sent two of her assistants (one we met and had agreed on and then a guy we still have no idea of credentialing) Family members took photo's that actually looked better than what we got (after 6 months) Apparently half the ceremony was lost on a defective SD card that we literally "begged" to get so we could try and retrieve these once in a lifetime pictures.... NO answerer and no card. Now looking into photographer for other daughter and frankly am very skeptical..... Any suggestions would be appreciated.... Wedding Oct, 2-12..... Thanks

I bought Elements 10 thinking it would help me edit pics. I bought a book with a tutorial CD as well.... I am absolutely frustrated... Doesn't seem like it should be so complicated. Any suggestions to a program I might start with to help me get the main understandings of editing .... before I try something that professionals master? Thanks

MT Shooter - I just checked out the pics on your website.... They are great.... Especially the rock balancing in the water, the awesome tree, and the barn........... They are all really nice ............
