Bossing sheep can require a lot of running around. It is hot work, and sometimes it makes your tongue hang out a little.....or a lot!

These guys wait for me to fill my feeders and then hang around until I leave but I have a secret place from which to photograph them. Please view the downloads.

Very nice set Ken, they absolutely deserve to be seen in download! The backgrounds beautifully support the very pleasing light on your subjects.

More from my visit to Martin Mere.

Very nice set Bill, looks like an enjoyable visit. The longer I look a flamingo the more unlikely they seem.

Looking for suggestions for a day trip from Venice next month. Would prefer travel by train or coach, but rental car not out of the question. Padua, Vicenza or Verona are probably the most obvious choices, but I really don't know much about them. Burano is already a seperate day on the schedule.

My main interest is photo ops, but I'm the only photographer in our group of four.

Recommendations and suggestion for what to see there appreciated.

You can't go wrong going in the direction of any of the places your have mentioned. For me many of the photo ops would be landscapes along the way, especially this time of the year, and a rental car would give you so much more flexibility for photo stop-ops. Verona is beautiful, it is the most ambitious drive but offers the most scenic countryside. Have fun! Hope you are staying in Venice long enough to enjoy the luxury of taking a break from Venice!!

Fun to see two members of f:64 in the same shot, I always loved Imogene Cunningham! Thanks for your consistent efforts to be one of the adults in the room. I appreciate your contributions here.

Very nice, Phil and once we owned a beloved border collie and she tried to herd just about everything!

That behavior is so hard wired into them, born to herd and real good at it! Thanks Corky

I like making collages. Hope you like them.

These are fun and well done. A great way to make use of good multiple shots of the same subject.

These are blooming in my garden right now, too bad they lasts only about two days.

These are simply beautiful Mike. Perfect use of well chosen backgrounds! Cactus flowers always amaze my with their delicacy. It is interesting that this smoky year may have given your garden a boost, the sage in our yard has really taken off this year as well. Splendid work as always my friend.

Earlier this year I had a very lucky experience where I literally drove by an active fox den on my way to get dinner. The den was overloaded with pure young fox action as four hungry fox kits showed me just how playful they are. I made a video of the experience here:

Enjoy!

Well done, thanks! Hope to enjoy more of your fine work.
