Bossing sheep can require a lot of running around. It is hot work, and sometimes it makes your tongue hang out a little.....or a lot!

it's what they do.... they love it... comes natural and gets better with more training and practice.... we have had two and never trained them at all to herd. all we had to say was "bring 'em home" and wait. 10 minutes and they were all in the barn........ nice pics, by the way, thanks
Fantastic series Phil. These dogs are just amazing how they control the movements of the the sheep.

These were trials and several dogs are shown here. None of these amazing animals were overworked, but one, after successfully completing her task, ran straight to a watering tank and jumped in! Thanks for your visit and comment.
