Perseverance pays off...good for you! The only way I get this bird (and it is one of my favorites) is by sitting in a blind.

Curious that it chooses different perches. I thought they generally have a favourite perch which they return to after diving for fish.

Excellent captures of a beautiful bird. Saw one yesterday and could not get a shot, everytime our car stopped it took off!!

Thank you so much Marsha for understanding the difficulty shooting them...and it's really great to know you liked them! Lol...I definitely need a blind...the Eagles treat me in the same fashion😱
