Some off-brand batteries are great. Some stink. I have a set of “Powerextra” batteries that perform as well as the new Canon LP6NH type on my R5. I also have a set of “BM” batteries that are crappy (pun intended). I get around half as many shots from them. Both off-brand offerings cost about 1/4 the price of the Canon’s though. So they are still worth it in my view.

Might that be Front Royal?

Interesting B&W. Looks a little like a solarized print where the lights are switched on briefly in the darkroom while the print is still in the developing tray. I like it.

I've played around with a few different cases. I find it difficult to tell the difference without a serious testing scenario with a willing subjects. Right now I'm using Case #3 with tracking sensitivity set to minus. I have good results with the high school sports I cover so I've left it alone for now.

Try attaching the lens to a different camera. The lens itself may be the problem.

Unless we all just get the #$%*&@ vaccine. It’s that simple!

I can’t imagine they don’t/won’t do the conversion as part of their regular process. Both companies rely on the average consumer for the majority of their business. Most people don’t ever have a need, use or knowledge about color spaces. If their quality is poor, go elsewhere.

Beautiful image although it looks a bit tilted to the left.

It could be. The camera was sitting on a rock.

I took a trip to Ricketts Glen PA for a hike around the fall loop that contains 21 waterfalls. Photography was not my main goal but I managed to shoot a 6 second exposure at f-20 with a 2 stop ND filter on my Canon R5 (16-35mm f-2.8) I highly recommend this site if you can catch it on a weekday. It's a strenuous 8 miles in total, up and down but highly worth it. Lots of visitors everywhere.

I'm looking forward to owning a Tesla myself. I can then eliminate the gas station from my "back in the day list" like going to the bank, dial telephones, paper maps and getting lost with bad directions, oil changes, etc.

If you're taking portrait under full bright sun (sunny 16 condition) and the sun cast ugly shadow under the nose and chin how much power of a flash do you need to fill in the shadow given you are shooting a distance of about 6ft from the subject and you use f/5.6 or f/8. ISO and shutter speed your choice.

With your sunny 16 condition I assume your aperture would be f/16. A pleasing light ratio of roughly 3 to 1 would put your fill flash between f8 and f11. The additional flash would likely require an ISO offset (lower) or a smaller aperture to compensate.
