[quote=Bob Yankle]Curious ...... what lens are you selling?

Its a 24-70 F4/L lens. I tried to sell here it here, but no response. I also tried Craigslist. I looked at Amazon, but they didn't offer as much as KEH. Well, its shipped. We'll see how I did.

I see where a lot of you folks have purchased from KEH and give them high marks. I am considering selling them a Canon L lens that is only a few months old. I did get a quote from them. My question, how different is the final price paid then the quote was? Thanks for your time.

Since Canon sells more new equipment than others, it stands to reason that more Canon used equipment would be for sale :!:

Using common sense, unusual on this site, lol!

Do a search. They don't have good reviews, stick to B&H or Adorama or Amazon.

I have a 70-300 L lens on sale. My reason is that now that I have turned 70, I am trying to shoot lighter. I have noticed that most of the questions on this site have to do with Nikon cameras. So, we all notice different things, I guess.

Thanks for your interest. No hurry. For planning purposes, shipping is liable to add $50 to the price. Have a great week.

Depends completely on your camera/lens weight and needs. I have their lightweight aluminum model for travel and their heavy duty graphite for landscapes. Sorry, I don't have the model numbers at hand right now.

First ran into them on sale at Costco, but haven't seen them there in some time.

They are availaable through Costco online only.

I am wanting to get a tripod for under $200. It will not be used for professional use, just as a serious hobby. Any suggestions for what would be the best one for the money? Thank you.

The link above goes to a Dolica that Costco sells. You won't find a better price. Good luck.

I have a 70-300 L lens that I don't use as much as I should. The lens is in absolutely perfect condition. I would like to sell the lens locally so that the buyer has a chance to see the images it produces. I have all the original packing and documents. I am including a lens bag and a Canon tulip lens hood. The lens has had a UV filter on it since purchase. I am asking $950.

I use the OpTech Sling. The strap attached at the camera lugs, not the tripod screw hole. Go to Amazon.

Glad you enjoyed the shots. There are actually many RI residents that were stationed here in the Navy and decided to make RI their home.

I know but I had to get a job, so I returned to DC and never left. Love New Egland.
