And? What is the interest relative to photography?

I am getting five new tires for one of my old cars today. How does this concern anyone if not about photography?

My bad, it should have been in General Chit Chat, non photography area.

The amazing thing is, the company is in Los Cerritos CA and it is only 415 miles to Casa Grande. They are estimating arrival Jan 23-26. They must have reinstated the Pony Express. Just ranting because time is of the essence, I'm getting older...😉😉😉

This was an experiment that was done sometime in the early 20th century. The moon blocked out most of the sunlight and photos of the star background showed a shift due to the gravitational field of the sun, confirming some predictions of relativity.

I was suspecting gravitational lensing had something to do with the question, but wouldn't the background stars have to be very close to the edge of the sun to notice a shift? How could you see them through the glare of the corona? I'm still clueless.

Has anyone attended one of Shen Yuns performances? If so, what is your opinion?

I also can't comprehend how you could record any star appearing close to the sun if your using a solar filter. Also the stars wouldn't appear at totality, without a filter, due to the corona being so bright. Please help us understand.

Normal positions of stars? Are you referring to an occultation? What does film have to do with it?

Only the "Mind of Minolta" knows for sure.

My Nikon Z9, Sony a1 are not on the list. Oh no, I must not be a good photographer. I guess I will just have to muddle through life with what I have. So sad. I guess I will just have to be satisfied with what I can get out of my current camera's and dream about getting one that is in the top ten.

The twig he's holding isn't quite level, time for a Sony...😉😉😉

Seems to me that it might be easier to simply drive slowly and within the posted speed limits and hours posted, than spend all this time on UHH looking for a resolve. My mind usually searches for simple solutions. Sorry if I've offended any UHHers!

It could be my fault also, I got a 14mm lens for my canon camera at Christmas and was hoping to use it with the astro camera but the weather gods have said no.

Ahhh, the Truth comes out in time. 😉😉😉
I took it out last night to view the moon and was very pleased with its performance even with a 3.5mm eyepiece (240x). My favorite combo is my old Ultima series 35mm and 2x Barlow. The Nagler 15mm plossel is also very good.

Talk about non-definitive.....
What happened to "school hours".
Our 15MPH "flashing signals" operate during ingress and egress times for the school, typically not during the entire time it is in session during the day. NEVER saw one flash at any other time.

You're using too much common sense. I believe Arizona uses the same ideas and even post a crossing guard when possible. I haven't noticed if they put signs out for after school hour events, but still watch my speed through those areas.

The after hours thing stinks, unless there is some kind of event.

Very nice photo of what looks like the Nu'uanu Pali lookout.
