The attached image was done in Paintshop Pro. The original photo was taken in a park in Niagara falls. I also took a picture of the sky. In PSP I converted the original to BW. I selected the mother and daughter and pasted them on the sky. It is pretty easy to do and only takes a few minutes.
Paintshop Pro can be purchased for a very reasonable price.
BSA Polaris District Camperree at Beaver Island State Park this past weekend.
Great Set. Makes me want to visit.
Easy to do in Paintshop Pro.
I use a Nikkor 28-105mm f3.5-4.5 D lens as a walk around. On a crop sensor it will be a 42-158mm. Image Quality is excellent, and they are available used in excellent condition for a little over $100. Attached is a photo of my dog taken with this lens st 105mm, f4.5, 1/60s with flash.
Female Cardinals at my feeder.
Nice captures. Really like the BW.
I have a Series 1 200mm f3 that I bought used in the late 70s. Back then I had great results on my F2 with it. I still have it and use it on my D7100 at times. Focus indicator on the 7100 works with it and it meters in manual and arperture priority. I have attached some images taken with the D7100. Keep in mind that these images are cropped.
Attached photo taken with a D7100 with Yongnuo 568EX bounced in ittl mode. This flash is available for under $100.
Royce,
I was about 20ft away. The teleconverter was a Kenko Pro 300. Lens is even sharper without the teleconverter. Also, keep in mind that the ISO was 1250. The lens is built like a tank and has a tripod mount. I purchased it from KEH for a little more then $100.00. It was 8 cosmetically and 10 optically. Even though it is manual focus it works well with the focus indicator on my 7100.

Royce,
I have a Nikkor 300mm f4.5 ai lens that I use on my D7100 and love it. Attached is an image taken with it combined with a 1.4 converter (630mm on a dx camera). the settings were f8.0, 1/100s, and iso 1250.
I have the same lens and use it on my D7100. It is tack sharp on the 7100 just as it is on my F2. Focusing should not be a problem as the focus indicator in the view finder works.
