In my business, real estate and architectural photography, I bracket ALL my shots. I use Photomatix Fusion to combine them for MOST of the shots, but not all. I frequently find that one of the bracketed images is better than the HDR one. IMHO, that is the case here. I find that your 00ev image is sharper, brighter, has better color balance, and nicer sky, than the HDR version. You may find a different Photomatix pre-set option that works better, but consider that HDR techniques are not the solution for all shots.
