Love your images, but......PLEASE DON'T FEED YOUR DOGS GRAPES!

Grapes are one of the most toxic things you can feed your beloved pets...

"Grape and raisin (dried grapes) toxicity is well documented in dogs.* Although the exact substance that causes the toxic reaction is not yet known, dogs should not eat grapes and raisins because even small amounts can prove to be fatally toxic for a dog. Dogs of any age, breed, or gender may be affected.

I don’t see a Hasselblad lamp here.

I like the poses but the hard dirty floor and background degrades the image.

Did Alaska trip a couple years ago with Nat/Geo, 50 passengers and was an awesome trip. Great experience and excellent food. Several hikes and kayaking during the trip. Would not hesitate to do it again. A bit pricey but tough to beat.

Well let’s see... sports pros would probably prefer faster zooms or primes.

Is it fast focusing to keep up with the body FPS.

Is it handhold-able and weather-sealed well enough...

Those are a few questions that would come to mind...

Faster than 600 F4 prime?......who makes that? And I highly doubt you would hand-hold a 600 f4.
I have the Sony fe400 2.8 coupled to an a7iii and autofocus with both the Sony 1.4x and 2x converters is very fast and accurate, and it keeps up with 10 FPS. Optics are superb. Construction is designed for professional use and competitive with Canon and Nikon’s new lenses. I’m sure the 600 f4 will function the same.

I’m not sure I would consider the Sony zoom Pro worthy...opinions...

Pardon me, but that is a zoom lens, not a 300mm, and if you put a 2X on it, you will not have auto focus. Please be accurate in your future posts.

Where did he say he was using autofocus? Maybe you should be “accurate in your future posts”.

Your cabin looks awesome...I’m jealous. I can envision getting up early morning and taking a photo of a nice big brown bear from your front porch. I love Alaska.

I am about to totally abandon PSCS5, since I have a new iMac with High Sierra. I cannot print from PSCS5, for it shuts down immediately when I press Command-P (PRINT). So I cannot print from it. And yesterday, while abstracting an image, CS5 shut down unexpectedly. It is a driving reason why I'm now studying Affinity Photo. Is anyone else, who owns PSCS5, experiencing similar behavior on an iMac with High Sierra?

Yes, same exact thing for me and LR6 shuts down as well, so I am not happy I updated my OS to High Sierra. CS5 and LR6 were both just fine for me and I really don’t care about the new additions in the later versions and I use other software for RAW conversion. So I am not real happy about having to scrap over $1k worth of software just because of updates that really don’t provide a benefit for my needs. The cost of having to go to the subscription model is really no issue....it’s just that I was getting along fine with what I had.

I like the composition better in #1. It shows the bow hanging from the music stand and all the components sitting in the corner temporarily retired and showing more of the “place”. I think #1 tells more of a story.

If your MacBook Pro is running High Sierra you may have a problem with LR6. I have LR6 on my MacBook Pro and Mac Mini. I recently updated my OS to High Sierra on both computers at the same time (big mistake) and now LR6 crashes on both computers. I have read that LR6 and older has compatibility issues with High Sierra and only solution is to scrap LR6 and go with LRCC. I am having some problems running and printing from CS5 now too. Wish now I had never updated my OS.
