I like the first one. Shows more of the bass and I doubt few if anybody will be trying to read the notes on the song book anyway.

I like the music not being chopped off as well as the larger image of the bass..

The second seems to have no subject. The first is much better. The only suggestion I have is that the first would be much better if it were a cello instead of a bass; however, I may be somewhat biased in that regard.
