I heard on the news yesterday that a little girl was attacked by a bison. I sincerely hope that people will abide by the recommendations to be wary of all wild animals rather than some fool wanting them fenced in or some such.

It isn't a zoo, they are wild animals.
(Even wild animals in a zoo can kill you.)
Common sense...

Yes I saw a video of it. There were 3 youngsters within a few feet of a large bull and he didn't like it, charged and threw her several feet. I hope they all learned a lesson and most of all hope she is OK

I call it Millenial Seepage. Their ignorance leaks down to their kids and they mostly aren't smart enough to watch over children.

You have to wonder if CPS is going to get involved in this one.

Watched a group of around a dozen idiots racing up a hillside in Yosemite to get closer to a mama bear and her two cubs for some close shots. Didn't stick around to see the results, but it was the deadliest day in the history of the park with four deaths. One over a cliff in a car, and three over a falls because they climbed over a barrier.

Kpmac, so true. I doubt any of us would be here today if our prehistoric ancestors had the millennial mindset of many today.....oh wait, perhaps THEY DID...until they became Saber Tooth Tiger lunch!

Survival of the fittest also refers to the mentally fittest also. Survival of the dumbest has the fittest to thank for protecting them from themselves and the perils of life itself.

We were at Custer State Park last year and saw a woman get within 4 or 5 feet from a bison to get her close up shot. All the while the bison was pawing its foot. Not a good thing. I guess some people just don't get it. Then they blame the animal when something happens.

I hope they didn't shoot the bison. When I was at Yellowstone, I saw people routinely stepping over fences, ignoring warning signs, and walking off the footpaths. People are idiots.
