I use the 70 x 200 is L lens more than any other. It is a great one to start with and they have a new one out, but will have to wait on buy that one.

Hi, the 7D is a great camera, switched to the 60D only because of the weight and with the large L lens I need to lighten the weight all I can. I can't tell the difference in picture quality, but I do animals and landscapes. Good luck. Bee

I have a battery in the 60D that has been showing that since I put it in a couple months ago and it is still working. Mine probably isn't a Canon battery. So I wouldn't worry. Bee

Try taking the battery out wait 10 seconds then put it back. Good Luck. I have owned maybe 15 of these Canons new and used and never had a problem. Knock on wood. Bee

I use Carbonite, it costs around 50. a year, but have lost everything three times and they had it all backed up including my programs. The only problem was it took 7 days and 8 nights to download, but my DSL isn't that good so that may have been the trouble. I also save some of my best pictures on an external hard drive. Good luck
