Native to Southern Africa, this plant can reach up to 15 feet in height (I have seen bushes this tall there). Their flowers are the size of about a clenched fist and they resemble pincushions, hence the name.

I once owned it. Zenit IS a Russian camera, perhaps your lenses for it were made in DDR.
I remember, it took quite good pics...

Here is another pano from this unforgettable place. A Broken Arch Panorama.
The Arch is toward the right edge of the pic.

How many frames and did you have the camera in portrait?

I don't remember at this time. Maybe 8 or 9 vertical (portrait) pictures stitched together (overlapping about 30%).

Pano taken in 2012. One of my first picture stitching attempts, using PTGui.

Thank you very much Pstrykacz for looking in on my tour and taking the time to pen your kind words. I am quite excited to actually find somebody from Szczecin - or at least who studied there and also that I was able to post 2 pictures from your Alma Mater. Did you actually live in the city before your studies, or moved there for the studies?

We loved the town, it was a great entry into Poland with all the other as well beautiful cities. This was quite an interesting driving trip for us, it wasn't a tour designed by a travel office, but rather a "self-baked" tour and itinerary that we were overall very pleased with. I don't know whether you noticed the earlier posts in the Netherlands, and particularly through Germany, but we managed to see a good number of interesting places there as well. And after Szczecin, the continuation into Malbork, Gdansk, Poznan and Wroclaw was just sort of magic. Again, welcome to the tour and thank you for your comment.
Thank you very much Pstrykacz for looking in on my... (show quote)

No, I was born and raised in central Poland and moved for my 6 years of studying into Szczecin and lived there in a dormatory on Dunikowskiego Street.
Szczecin, after nearly 42 years since the graduation, is still very dear to me and I have lots of sentiment for this city.
