Glad you included the pickup! I have only seen one in person and it was in a scrape yard waiting on somebody to restore it.

I once had the chance to buy a Hudson pickup that was a restore job. I wish I had bought it but it would still need restoring!! Keep posting!

Yes Grayghost, we just lost one about 5 miles from my house this spring. Great building with a lot of history gone. I loved to go over and just make pictures of the building with different light and shadows each time.

Yes there is a lot of snipe hunting in Tennessee but I don’t know of a single one that has run into a paper bag yet!!!

I saw the notches line up along with the reflection on the water. They form a faint vertical line. And then after someone mentioned the blue sky spot in the clouds it kind of tops the line off!

About the crops, I do like the ones that cut some of the grass off. However they do change the aspect ratio which may make using a standard frame difficult. There are other great crops that cut quite a bit of the original layout and change the store quite a bit. That goes back to what you as the photographer want your photo to say.

Really enjoyed your note. To be honest I clicked on it ready to write a nasty comment on it not being about photography but it was a pleasant surprise! Thanks for the post!

I took my first photo class at Dury’s over 40 years ago when I was on my first job out of college and had to take some photos. Just a couple of years ago I had to take my gear in to get it cleaned up after an accident with two bags of concrete in the back of my SUV. They were my go to place for sure. They had been in business for over 100 years

Actually it is Crimson Clover. You can tell by the shape of the flower head. And I’m not real sure it has been all down. I am seeing a lot of it this year where I know it has not been sown. In fact some right on the shoulder of the road. I think in some years it just comes up wild.

If your wife gets to hard after you, I think I know a place for her over in Tennessee! Beautiful! And so much like my current lab that is 15!!! Got to love them.
