Thanks. I’ll play around with it and see what I can figure out. When referring to ‘flash bracketing’ I am looking at the D7500 custom setting Auto Bracketing Set - two of the options are AE only or AE & Flash.

Hopefully this question makes sense. My understanding is that this flash is controlled by the settings on the flash and not the camera specified settings. Assuming that is true, my question relates to flash compensation and flash bracketing selections on the D7500 - will they have any impact on the Nisson flash? Or do I need to actually handle flash compensation and/or bracketing manually via adjustments to the flash itself?

Another endorsement for David Bosch's book Though it is relatively expensive compared to some other alternatives, it is very comprehensive and well written. Also, Steve Perry's 'Secrets to the Nikon AF System' PDF is excellent. And lastly, there are a number of good youtube videos available.

Absolutely spectacular

Awesome photo. I’m taking a road trip thru Utah in the fall and hope I can come home with some pics like this.

Though I have used Photoshop Elements briefly in the past, I have recently upgraded to PS 2018 and am looking for some suggestions on any training that is available. I'm mostly interested in finding out if there are some good manuals or online courses that anyone has found especially helpful.

I'm relatively new to UHH, but thoroughly enjoy the daily discussion topics. Figured I might as well introduce myself - I've been playing around with photography for about 5 years, but still consider myself a novice. Trying to learn as much as I can, but it seems the more I read and research, the more complicated and confusing things get.

I have a Nikon D7500 and two lenses: a Tamron 18-400 mm F/3.5-6.3 and a Tokina 11-20mm F/2.8. I also recently purchased a Nisson flash and have started experimenting with that.

For post processing I use PS Elements and Photomatix Essentials (for HDR)

My main interest is landscape photography, but am also interested in portrait photography (I have a 1 year old granddaughter that is driving that) and sports photography.

I am planning a road trip through a number of National Parks in October and am trying to get geared up for that.
