Though I have used Photoshop Elements briefly in the past, I have recently upgraded to PS 2018 and am looking for some suggestions on any training that is available. I'm mostly interested in finding out if there are some good manuals or online courses that anyone has found especially helpful.
I just type in PS 2018 tutorials into google. All sorts of videos are out there for all versions of PS.
Tony Northrup has a digital “Pay What You Can” ebook that I downloaded. You might check that. Although I’ve only quickly glanced at it, it looks to be quite informative.
See if your library has free access to lynda.com. They have training for PSE 2018 and much more. They are well produced videos in short chapters which makes it easy to re-watch or just devote a few minutes a day. If you can't get through your library, I believe you can try free for 30 days:
https://www.lynda.com/If you want a hard cover book, look into the Dummies series. Available at Walmart and many other places. At the time I bought one for PSE 2012 it seemed a little advanced, but was easy to supplement with the other sources...including UHH buddies
Adobe offers much information that I reference frequently:

How To Gurus on youtube.
He has a training course for PSE that covers every tool and feature.
Very reasonable priced.
Also a ton of free how to programs.
I visit his youtube channel quite often.
