Panasonic's pro models are also built with die-cast magnesium alloy chassis. They are mostly metal, extremely rugged, and weather sealed. Our GH models are as rugged as the Nikon F3s I beat the hell out of in the 1980s.

Used to be, I thought Nikons were tanks, Canons were Jeeps, and other cameras were cars. But the industry has changed, and most brands make really solid gear now, at least at the high ends of their ranges.

I agree but i think Fujifilm's color rendition is better than Panasonic's

I want to get a small camera to carry in trouser or jacket pocket. My first choice was the Fujifilm X100V, but it seems that Fujifilm is not making that camera, or even taking orders for it right now.
After considering other cameras I’ve pretty much narrowed down to the M4/3 Panasonic Lumux G100 with the 12-32mm lens and the APS-C Nikon Z fc with the Z DX 16-50mm lens. With a strong lean toward the Panasonic.
I have used a M4/3 camera and lens a couple of time in the past, but I am not very familiar with that system. I would like some insight, from those who used one or both of those cameras, especially the Panasonic.

I wood still go with the Fujifilm X series, those cameras are made the way cameras are supposed to be made...with metal, even the dials are mand from etched metal!

When did you win the lottery, or are you just rich?

You know that only about 6 or 7 factories make almost all the battery cores in the world and Canon and Nikon buy their cores from them just like the numerous other battery brands. As a matter of fact, years ago I read an article that named the company(s) that Canon and Nikon contracted with to assemble batteries for them. It was a long time ago, and I don't remember which companies assembled for them. I do remember one of them assembled for both Canon and Nikon at one time or another and about a dozen other brand names, depending on the type of battery.
Some of the Chinese companies will assemble batteries for anyone and put what ever name you want on them.

Oh ok i didn't know that, keep buying off brand batteries just to save a few bucks!

Please give us your opinions on Watson and Wasabi batteries. Which one do you prefer ?
Thank you.

Keep it simple, if your using a Canon use Canon batteries, if your using Nikon use Nikon batteries!
