My thinking is that many competitive events (not all considered sports to me) are shown because of all the on-line betting. These events never saw daylight on TV before.

You just may have helped a lot of us. I too often can’t (based on experience) choose and end up taking the same lens, while leaving my investment home.

WoW, and I hate the situations at car shows. I still consider myself a novice (compared to everyone here), but fully understand based on you description and what I’m learning.

Had an accessory kit “Remote Spare Tire Fill Valve” for a 1948 Chevrolet. Same idea, but it allowed you to check and fill the spare without opening the trunk. Of course you had to drill a hole in the body (never did that) and as a result it remained unused.

Available to a good home. Used Tamrac Camera Bag (Model unknown). Measures about 11" High x 9 ½" Wide x 5" Deep. It has 2 removable dividers, but may have had more when new. This came with a used camera I purchased about 2 years ago. Never needed it and have no need now. Would probably make a great secondary no worry bag, or just for storing extra gear. Ships from Zip Code 48069 at almost 2 pounds when packed and via USPS Priority Mail only (easiest for me). I can double check shipping cost once destination is known.

I've been working on cars and making things out of wood since I was a kid, so I tend to watch tool reviews online. Reviews and comparisons of Snap-On tolls surprised me. I've never bought anything from Snap-On. My basic socket set is a Craftsman set from about 1960.

What I have observed in Snap-On comparisons is that their tools are no better than any other name brand, but they cost four or five times more. Whether they are hand tools or power tools, buying S-O will get you moderate performance, a shorter warranty, and very high prices. In a comparison of cordless impact wrenches, Milwaukee walked away as the winner, at less than half the price and with a five-year vs one-year warranty. The Harbor Freight impact wrench did very well against the S-O, even out-performing it in one test.

A comparison to tool cabinets produced the same results. Comparing large cabinets, the very expensive S-O came up short against offerings from Harbor Freight and Home Depot. As the reviewer said, they are both made in China of similar material, with almost identical configurations. So why does the S-O cost several times what the H-F cost?

I know some of you will tell us how good S-O tools are, but I'm just commenting on comparisons I've seen online.

I've been working on cars and making things out of... (show quote)

These tool companies are primarily for shops (i.e. automotive, aircraft, marina etc.) and for convenience of the tech. They also have unique tools for those industries, besides the standards we know (hammers, screwdrivers, normal sockets and wrenches). The tool boxes are in the same boat, but hold a trade in value for upgrade that the likes of a Craftsman brand won’t. When you make a living with them versus a hobby, it makes sense and pays to think about longevity over cost.

This is joke... right?

No, this really happened. They where aware of certain rules regarding dress code and some of the edited people had OKs for their dress before hand. Most of what I’ve seen was not a problem for most of us. That being said, get a competent editor that makes it look good regardless of what your view of appropriate is.

Nicely done. You made a boring gray ( my opinion) look fantastic. Of course the rest a great too.
