Great collection!! My uncle (46') had a DeSoto "Woody" (car not wagon). He'd drive to our house in NJ on Sundays. They spent the afternoon washing their cars. My Dad had a 46' Dodge with fluid drive. (mainly for my Mom who wanted to drive - that fluid transmission was the slowest!!) Later the families had dinner together. Those were great times.

1957 DeSoto had the largest fins I believe and was my favorite.

My Cub Scout den mother in 1952 in Amarillo had a dark blue version of that first one in this series.
A real automobile. My baseball coach . . . I was in the third grade . . . had a Cadillac covertible and a
really pretty blond girl friend. Those were the days.
