Coopers hawk from the white band on the tail.

Great shots, my oldest 91 yr old brother was on LST 349 WW2.
It ran aground and sunk on the coast of Italy. He and a few others made it off but quite a few died.

If you Google LST349 there are underwater video's of it now.

I've been thinking about this all day, if you haven't solved it yet, turn the camera on and press on the Disp button at the bottom of the camera next to Menu. Press it a few times and see if your screen or view finder comes back on.

My opinion is that it is a Cooper's Hawk because of the white band on the tail.

The second one is a Coopers Hawk and the identifying mark is the white band on the tail.

I had an SX50 for 4 mo. and it suddenly started showing "Lens Error" I tried everything possible to correct it to no avail. I then googled it and learned there are quite a few post on google about this problem. You might want to try the same.

I took mine back to Best Buy and they replaced it with no problem.

As I said Google SX50 Lens Error or Canon SX50 Lens Error and you will see I'm not lying. The telephoto won't work and the shutter won't work.

It comes up as Lens Error, black letters on white screen and the telephoto won't go out and the shutter doesn't work.

The only information I have is what I got when I googled Canon SX50 Lens Error. There's quite a bit on there.

I didn't have the extended warranty, they just exchanged it although you get a 1 yr warranty through Canon. I just hope it doesn't happen again.

I haven't bought the warranty yet, but I think I might.

Yesterday afternoon, I started to take a photo and did two shots, then all of a sudden I got a Lens Error warning on screen. I tried changing battery's & memory cards but couldn't get it to work.

I decided to Google "Lens Error warning" and quickly learned that numerous people have had this problem and one guy said Canon refuses to do a recall.

Today I took it back to Best Buy and got a replacement. It was less than 4 mo. old

I love the camera so I hope it doesn't happen again. I also have the SX30.
