I chose the Sony 100-400 over the 70-200 and I did, it is super sharp, handles like a 70-200 and focuses down to 39 inches at 400mm. Plus their are many reports that the Sony 70-200 f2.8 has focus issues and is due for an update.

If you want to make enemies, say something true about Nikon Df ...

Very true, most of them are yesteryear photographers that are afraid of new technology and don’t like change.

What do you mean?

It’s too limited by today’s standards and there are much better choices in that price range.

Fine. That was not my point, and I don’t care.
It is still on the market, and still has no video.

And nobody cares about it...

I think by the time it’s out Sony and Canon will take another leap forward.

Are you working on a gray scale image? It’s reversed for gray scale.

Z9 will have too much tech to be a sub $4000 camera, it will be the D5/D6 of Nikon’s mirrorless line to compete with the Canon R1 and Sony A1.

Occasionally, I will upscale my Canon images using the default Adobe Bicubic Smoother in my Elements 9 - but have never made a test comparison with CIZ - but it might be worth while now that I think about it ...... ! ?
.

Not sure if it’s available in Elements but if you are using the full version of Photoshop you should try Preserve Details 2.0 as the resample option, it has to be turned on in the preferences to show up in the Image Size menu.

I went with the Alienware 17” instead of a MSI, basically the same laptop but with a nicer build quality. A fellow videographer friend of mine has the MSI and it seems kind of flimsy compared to the Alienware.

I have seen that is true for most Canon owners. Why not sell yours and then you can relax and buy Nikon and Sony.

He already owns a Sony and Nikon is on a downhill slide.

That was a great system, the only downside was the 1/30 of a sec. flash sync and no Polaroid back. I had a system for around 10 years, used it mainly for location work. I had the metered prism finder, 37mm fisheye, 45mm, 75mm, 90mm, 150mm & 300mm lenses. The lenses are very good for that system. For studio work I had a Hasselblad system with 3 lenses and eventually sold it and built up a Mamiya RZ pro II system, I liked the 6x7 cm over the square format.

Same here. I've used my D7100 and D7200 for video, but it's just to cumbersome to set up and use. Focusing is difficult and the file sizes are HUGE. I find that my iPhone 12 Pro takes AWESOME video, especially at night. My previous iPhone 7 was great, but the 12 Pro is even better.

I would LOVE to use my DSLR for video if it was easier to use.

Improved video auto focus is one of the main reasons the Z6 and Z7 were invented. There are no DSLRs that have good video auto focus.

I have been using the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom for over a year now on real estate shoots for certain houses and businesses. It is basically impossible to crash it or run it into something with the collision senors turned on and as long as you keep it in site.

Going back to 1984 days when Manfrotto was known as Bogen the 3051 was called the 3050 automatic tripod, coined as the “world’s fastest tripod”.

Photography is easy, it's learning PhotoShop that's hard.

A two minute how to video should get you up and running...A five minute one and you will have mastered all there is to know.
