Yep, that wouldn't work nowadays. I'd hate to be young and dating. Needing permission to put your arm around your date, holding her hands or even that 1st kiss. Even takinging her onto the dance floor, having to ask permission to grab her hand and put the other around her waist.

As a former Quality Control Inspector in the Nuclear Power field, I have often wondered where are we gonna get ALL THIS ELECTRIC POWER needed to charge/quick charge all these new EV's that the gov't is pushing on us! Wind, solar & hydro power can not generate enough electricity quick enough to feed the electric grid drain from EV's.
The majority of our existing Nuclear plants are at or nearing their life span. Their loss of providing power to the grid will be felt with the raising of rates to their customers. In Calif, 3 dams are being destroyed up north to allow the salmon to return to these rivers running through tribal reservations, 1 has already been started, but I have not heard anything about the loss of water or power that was supporting those communities or where the replacement water and power is coming from if at all. Calif starves for water every year as of late and our Govnr/social politicians continue to make policy that !@#$%&!! I need to stop or UHH will pull my comments as political.
Bottom line, we need more Nuc-pwr plants. Build smaller megawatt units, but we need more power and Nuclear is the only clean hi volume power creator currently avaliable.

I was stationed at Holy Loch on the Canopus/Holland from 75-78. Was an HT1 working in R-7 Nuc-Repair. We would write repair procedures, order repair parts on the primary systems then supervise those repairs of the Subs. Working with the subs engineering crews was gr8. Loved it.

Ready or not, it was a great set of a truck with character!! All these new vehicles look the same. Can't tell them apart from a distance. Older cars had character and style. And YOU COULD tell them apart from a distance.
