Recently it was announced that the remains of a WW II U.S. Soldier had been identified and was scheduled to be interred in one of Florida's National Cemeteries. A tribute procession was authorized and the route to his final resting place passed down U.S. Rte 27 past our small town. The date, May 13th, coincided with our monthly Cruise-in at our American Legion Post and with the help of local Fire Departments, we saluted his service to our country. Unfortunately, my vantage point for the photographs didn't allow me to capture the large banner strung across the southbound lanes of the highway between the the two Ladder Trucks.

Great jobs by the operators of the ladder trucks, especially considering the nearby power lines.

Just another example of the favorite VA (Veterans Administration) slogan - All gave some, Some gave all!
