Happy for You!!! Nice Going!!! Enjoy!!!
Unbelievable Unbelievable Unbelievable... On the dishwasher note..... The dishwasher is a great place to wash baseball type caps. Put them on the top shelf w dishwasher soap and put them through a cycle including dry. Come out like new. They are some what damp when you are done. Usually takes a day for total drying.
Nikon D7100 w a Nikon 55-200mm zoom. You will be very happy. Might find the camera and lens both new for $1000 to $1200. Both used for $800 - $950.
One other thought, could be a light leak into the sensor of some kind. Light like water will find a way to penetrate if there is any kind of crack or opening.
ORBS! Absolutely a Haunted property. Do a search on Ghost Orbs. I don't think you need to vacate the property. If things start moving on their own and you start hearing knocking sounds or the sound of someone walking when noone is there, you might consider an exorcist. Again, it could be and probably is dust or weird lens reflection. Best of Luck!
National Camera Exchange in the Minneapolis St. Paul area is outstanding. A+++++ service, knowledge, and selection. Price is more than competative w online and trade-in value also exceptional. Absolutely the best.
this post and the responses supporting the 80 D is why this forum is so OUTSTANDING
I have on several occasions purchased NIKON lenses at a great sale price. It doesn't happen often put saved as much as $200 - $300 hundred.
A smart camera store owner once told me if you put something on the outside of the lens, it ends up in the lens. He would not take a lens of mine on trade because I had obviously cleaned it.
any company that does not work with all states to ensure proper tax payment is foolish and potentially facing trouble for not supporting tax law. The world of internet purchases has changed over the past 18 months. Smell the coffee folks, time to wake up to reality. You are going to pay state tax, if your state has it. Also if you do not report your purchase to your state, they may come after with penalties and more. Life has changed.
CHASE CARD USERS BEWARE: Thought I's pass this on. The primary phone number for chase card support has been hijacked by a group of con artists. They will call you using the Chase Card Number and then try to scam you. Chase has told me they are aware or it. Chase also makes it clear they will not drop the phone number.
In all seriousness, I don't think the lens is as important as being on your toes to grab a camera and shoot. Recently, I was driving on a un-maintained dirt road in the middle of nowhere in northern Minnesota. We were probably 12 to 15 miles from the nearest blacktopped road. I had 2 smart phones and 1 Nikon d7200 with me. They were all within reach and ready to go. I was driving very slow - 6-8 miles an hour. We came up a small hill and the woods opened up a little. Sitting there on the dirt road, not moving at all, was a bob cat. Sitting staring at us. It sat for at least 20-30 seconds, staring at us, before it slowly turned and walked away. My wife and I were dumbfounded. It is hard to see a bobcat any where. It was foreign to us. We sat going that's not a dog, a cat, what is it. I am kicking myself since then. We were so amazed, we total spaced out taking a picture. Soooo, I wouldn't worry about the lens, but keeping your cool to take the shot (or many shots) when confronted with the unexpected.
