Too much work! I take all my equipment to the laundromat and wash with my clothes which absorbs the impact...add a little Downy before the rinse cycle and voila! My equipment comes out smelling better than the day I bought it!

Don't forget to submerge the camera in a bowl of rice to complete the drying process (I use Rice Select Texmati brand).
