Thanks for posting this! I'm happy that there are others who DIY! I'm a "farm kid", raised by "depression-parents", so was raised with, "Use it up! Wear it out! Make it do, or do without!" I never throw anything away, except real junk! I might find a use for that!
Great cart, well thought-out!
Why is it necessary to reach a "consensus"? Can't we just agree to disagree?

Different strokes for different folks! An acquaintance who is a professional photographer and also a musician prefers his Mac for Lightroom/photographic use, but prefers PC for MIDI/music!
If you have any 80-slide trays left, write me. My friend is interested in these.
I have a friend who uses those in a "retro-slide show". I'll ask him if he can use them! I'll reply later today!

The actual phrase was, "freeze the balls off of a brass monkey". The remark is a very racial remark referring to a man of mixed ancestry whose skin colour was a reddish-brown, and those people were referred to in the pre-civil war American south as "brass monkeys". Now that you know, you are welcome to forget about it!
Could be a hybrid. While I've never seen a hybrid goose (that I'm aware of), we do see many hybrid ducks here at Clear Lake, CA.
Many of these "facts" are in fact, INCORRECT! I call particular attention to the one about "minding one's ps and qs"! As a former handset printer, I can assert that a lower case P and a lower case Q are mirror images of each other, and are often confused by beginning typesetters! "Minding one's ps and qs" refers to being sure that the correct letters are used when setting type by hand, and by extension, to being on one's best behavior.
I know that many disagree with my stance, but I NEVER update OR upgrade ANYTHING! Once the computer is working properly, I turn OFF all automatic update software! I used WIN XP since it was introduced, and just last year upgraded to WIN 7-64. Just because the manufacturer "doesn't support" software doesn't mean it instantly fails to work! Only one of my six computers has internet access anyway!
Could be a scene from "The Lion King"! Which one's Ed? BEAUTIFUL SHOT!
I bought a Pentax K10D, an entry-level DSLR, bought used for a fair price on eBay. It came with a 28-90 lens. I kept the lenses that I had for my K1000, and still use the 50mm for photographing my sheet-music. The auto lens that came with the camera is great for my regular/hobby photography, and the manual lenses are good for "artsy" shots. Still have three K1000 bodies.
Beautiful story! Beautiful photographs! This proves what I've always said: you don't BUY dogs, DOGS HAPPEN! I've got four myself, all rescues.
You can tell a good person by the company they keep!
Admittedly, WIN98 is not "pure DOS", but it does allow you to access the DOS prompt without starting Windoze.
I also have a program that requires "pure-DOS", and so I keep one computer that runs WIN 98. Has no internet access, and runs no other programs, but runs the piano-roll reader perfectly.
#1 and #4, definitely! Great portraits! Handsome "models"!
